What a wild week with Ms. W and her
wonderful words! We have focused on our words during center time this
week, discussing how using our words really help to express ourselves.
We talked about how we are not wizards and cannot read each others
mind, but that with the help of words we can express all of our
feelings, thoughts and ideas.
One of the favorite things we do in
class is our What is the weather? time during morning circle.
Therefore, we made weather charts so all our friends can continue to be
little meteorologist during the summer! This projects let us work on our
ability to follow instructions, spatial planning, gluing and letter
recall.
We wrapped up our week on Wednesday
with waffles and watermelon for snack! These were real winners, even
for our picky eaters!
Thank you for turning in your field
trip permission slips for DeLeon Springs. We will meet at All Saints at
8:15 and head out together by 8:30. Driving arrangements are coming
together well. Thanks to everyone for working together and making this
possible.
Finally, Mrs. Joey and I would like
to thank all of you for taking time to meet with us and review your
childs progress and readiness for kindergarten. It is easy to see why
we have such wonderful, well-adjusted children with parents like you
supporting them in all they do.
