The week of May 8-10, 2012
Dear Parents,
This week we enjoyed our water days greatly. The
children loved playing with shaving cream and running through the
sprinklers. Our little playground was transformed into a water park!
In our classroom, we talked about Mother’s day. The
children worked on a special art project for the occasion. They painted,
glued and wrapped their presents for their mommies to enjoy.
We read Mommy Mine by Tim Warnes and I
Love You, Mommy by Jillian Harker, Kristina Stephenson. We also read
other books about summer and animals.
On Thursday, we had our end of the year
celebration. Thank you to all the parents that sent in the items. Our
lunch was delicious! During the day, we talked about how our school year
has come to an end and that in the fall; they will be going to Pre-K.
They were very excited to go “up stairs”.
