Three's
Ms. Lisa and Ms. Sarah
Dear
Parents,
At
Chapel this week, Father Russell continued the story of Moses and his
Journey out of Egypt. After he told the children the story how Moses
went to Pharaoh to ask him to let the Israelites go, he parted the sea
(using a large blanket and two benches) and everyone reached the other
side safely. Each child was able to walk through the parted sea upon
leaving Chapel.
We
worked hard this week on our Letter Aa and on our Apples. We made a
home-made apple pie, and apple crisp. The children poured, mixed and
measured all the ingredients. Using a Red, Green and Yellow apples we
did a taste test and used a graph to show which apple we liked the best;
red won by just one vote.
On
Tuesday we went on a small field trip to the library and were pleasantly
surprised that Mr. Tom was able to do story time of us. Our next field
trip to the library will be on Wednesday Oct. 28th at 10:30.
The
petting farm came on Wednesday
and
was a huge success. There were chickens, ducks, rabbits, six week old
piglets, and goats. The children were able to get in the pens with the
animals and had a blast. We all had a chance to experience God’s
wonderful creatures.
Tuesday and Wednesday we are meeting at 9:30 in car line for anyone that
wants to car pool or follow us. Please wear your school shirt and have
your permission slip forms in ASAP. We will be picking pumpkins, reading
stories, eating a small snack which we will provide and do some fun
crafts.
